There are several ways to get involved in MifiMentor:
Phase 1: Initial Ideation — Spring 2009
Between March 17 – April 15, vote for MifiMentor in Google’s 10th to the 100th campaign, and encourage your friends, family and colleagues to vote, as well.
Phase 2: Program & Partner Development — 2009
We’re seeking partners in microfinance, business, technology, higher education and philanthropy. MifiMentor Partner Organizations (MPOs) will be invited to help us shape the program, become industry advocates, and serve as global connectors to MFI’s and village leaders/entrepreneurs. Phase 3: Mentorship Program — 2010
As we begin developing a base of business mentors, we will look first to people knowledgeable in microfinance, and/or involved in emerging markets. If that’s you, and you’re interested in becoming a mentor, go to the “Contact Us” page and let us know your interest. During 2009, we’ll develop mentor and mentee criteria, as well as guidelines for participation.
